My son attended Lake View Learning center for his highschool education. My son had been in 5 different schools, but Lakeview’s principal Mr. Swanson and all the wonderful staff actually created an environment that supported my son!!! My son was was welcomed warmly, but given coping skills to deal with the pressures of classes and learning. The lessons provided hands on experiences with visual aids. The kids had electives that included barbering, wood working, mechanical technology, and art projects. The electives created a fun outlet where their strengths and social skills were strengthened. I would highly recommend Lakeview Learning Center because the kids are empowered to learn academics at their pace, social skills, and warm interactions with great teachers, reading assistance, and counseling!!!My son excelled and yes, he graduated highschool. Thank you Lakeview , I am forever thankful!! To all parents- Give Lakeview Center a chance!!! Your kids will grow in every way, but supported by each teacher and staff at Lakeview Learning Center!!

Troubled students can find a home at the Lakeview Learning Center. The schools for the behaviorally challenged are limited. The ones that offer appropriate coping strategies are even fewer. Lakeview Learning Center, however, lives up to its promises. I highly recommend Lakeview Learning Center in Totowa.

This school was able to shepherd our son from a starting place of being kicked out of 3 (!) different special needs schools, to transitioning back to his public high school. After just a year and a half or so at Lakeview, he was a different child. The staff is very caring, very communicative, and never uses insults or harsh methods (unlike some other special needs schools we have dealt with). Our child is currently taking some advanced and Honors classes in his public high school! I cannot say enough about how great Lakeview is.

This school is simply amazing, I was able to get my high school diploma because of them. The teachers Mr Anderson, Ray, Kevin and Aggie you guys were like dads to me love you all forever! The motivation was always unmatched. I will never forget my experience nor the teachers that I am still in contact with. I graduated 5 years ago and I am now working in a hospital and soon to start nursing school. Without me coming to this school I wouldn’t be where i am today. I will recommend anyone to send their children here when times are hard when it comes to school.

This is the most amazing place I have ever been that made learning so fun! I’ll never be able to forget the wonderful things that have came around from me attending lakeview and the most wonderful people who are more like family to me I can’t even bare to say how these guys have helped me get my high school diploma I wouldn’t even be where I am today if it wasn’t for my lakeview family .
